MOU was Signed between National Institute of Technology Karnataka, Surathkal  and Garreett Motion Technologies India Pvt. Ltd Pune on  27th August 2020. This Agreement is Valid For one Year from August 2020 to July 2021and can be extend based on the Mutual Consent of Both parties. Garett is desirous of offering financial aid to needy and deserving students in various educational institutions. NITK is desirous of collaborating with Garett for the benefit of students of NITK which will be in accordance with the Garett Policy.  We received Scholarship Fund of Rs.2,75,569/- from Garrett Motion Technologies India Pvt. Ltd to the NITK /KREC Endowment fund shall be utilized for “Garrett WeCare4 Scholarship”. Garett has reimbursed 80% of tuition fees of 5 students for B.Tech 1st Year Mechanical Engineering based on the cumulative Academic Score and their family income is less than  5 lakh.
